Claudia Colombo is an “archi-cook”!
On top of her profession as interior designer, she nourished her passion for cooking by participating in various courses, which over time enriched and stimulated her capacity to prepare delicious dishes. After her children were diagnosed with celiac disease, she began to experiment and design personal gluten-free adaptations of Italy’s most traditional recipes. Given her choice of a healthy and natural diet, she decided to use only flour that is naturally gluten-free; her kitchen thus became a laboratory where she studies the best and simplest way to make her mixtures rise and become thick without any chemical additive. After some difficulties, she found the solution and now has fun experimenting with all sorts of recipes that finally satisfy the needs of her kids, a little disheartened because of the difficulty in finding fresh and high quality products. Thanks to her experience, she makes it possible to have excellent results at home by following some simple tricks when preparing dishes that have nothing less when compared to wheat-based recipes. So let everyone’s creativity run free!
