Chiara De Nicola

Chiara was born in Como, grew up in Varese, but she has a Sardinian heart and DNA.  She learned how to cook with her mother and grandmother.  Following her classical high school diploma and a Degree in Performing Arts, she finally decided to follow her passion.  She attended Gambero Rosso, a culinary school in Rome.  Since then cooking has been her life and her work, in restaurants, catering and cooking instruction.  Over the years, she began studying and experimenting gluten and lactose- free food preparation for those with allergies and food intolerance.  She also cultivated her love for pastry and chocolate.  She has a passion for Japanese culture, devours books, and loves writing, all the while living and listening to music that comes from her LP vinyl collection.
